- E.T.: The Extra Terrestrial (1982)
the original cut!
Screenplay by Melissa Mathison; Directed by Steven Spielberg
Containing: Drew Barrymore, Dee Wallace, Henry Thomas, C. Thomas Howell
Kicking off our love towards short, misunderstood foreigners is Steven Spielberg's genuine 1982 classic. Having altered the film in 2002 (removing many of the film's most memorable moments & replacing them with CGI sequences), pack everyone in the station wagon to experience a 7-year-old Drew Barrymore in the ORIGINAL VERSION of this truly moving family film. Preceded by trailers from other 1980s "kids" films. 35mm print courtesy of Universal. 115min.

- MAC & ME (1988)
Written & Directed by Stuart Raffill; Containing: Jade Calegory & Ronald McDonald
Rivaling TROLL 2 as the Best Worst Movie
of the 1980s this misunderstood kreepy kiddie klassic is a stunning fusion of being an E.T. knockoff combined with a feature long McDonalds/Coca Cola commercial (including a 10min dance party with Ronald McDonald in his first co-starring role!) all wrapped up in a mind blowing, personal allegory of incomers becoming U.S. citizens. Ironically, neither Coca Cola nor McDonalds paid for any of the product placement in the film and in fact McDonalds donated much of what little tix sales were earned to the Ronald McDonald House. You truly do not want to miss one of Paul Rudd's favorite films at this RARE 35mm screening! 95min. Preceded by trailers of other misunderstood Kids films.
